      From the why-didn't-they-think-of-it-before department: Power Technology's Jam-Along ($49.95) is an ingenious little box that plugs into your home stereo and allows you to play along with CD's and tapes while mixing your sound with the recorded material. As with any signal that passes through a stereo, the results of your jamming can be recorded to cassette. The Jam-Along literature makes lots of references to its use with guitars, but the word "keyboard" actually appears once, so we're hopeful.
